Can I still use my main oil tank
YES, Once installed The Handy oil cabinet is connected to
the pipe leaving your oil tank. Both work together with a
simple change over to use tank or use a drum.
How long Will a drum of oil last
This does depend on house size and drum size,
Some houses are duel fuel and some are not.
Some houses have insulation some dont
Heating system settings vary from home to home.
The important thing is,
Now, you will know how much you use on an hourly
basis. Now, you will know what adjustments to your
heating timings and temps have the best impact on on
oil comsumption.
Best of all it only takes seconds to change a drum.
"Handy oil" Case Study
Two older houses close together of similar size
Both are 3 bed ! bathroom living room and kitchen
House one has moderate insulation & burns 1 litre per hour.
House two has moderate insulation & burns 1.5 litre per hour.
House one has thermostatic valves on radiators and does not
heat water with Oil.
House 2 has traditional radiators controls and heats water with oil.
Both homes use a fire place or stove also.
Where can I place the Handy Oil Cabinet.
The Handy Oil Dispenser is a two part fit.
Part 1
The Handy Oil Cabinet is installed at your Oil tank..
Your Oil tank should meet the following regulations,
Oil tanks should be sited:
1.8m away from non-fire rated eaves of a building;
1.8m away from a non-fire rated building or structure
( e.g. garden sheds)
1.8m away from openings (such as doors or windows)
in a fire rated building or structure
(e.g. brick built house/garage);
1.8m away from oil fired appliance flue terminals;
760mm away from a non-fire rated boundary such
as a wooden boundary fence
600mm away from screening (e.g. trellis and foliage)
that does not form part of the boundary.
Oil tanks are required to comply with fire separation
distances in order to adequately protect the stored fuel
from a fire or heat source.
Handy Oil Ltd accept no responsability for installations that do not
comply with Irish and Uk regulations.
Handy Oil Ltd. accept no responsibility for installations.
Installations Must be carried out by an insured qualified
boiler repair person.
Part 2 The K-Loop is installed at the burner and requires
a qualified installer or burner repair tecnichian to complete.

How do I place an order?
Placing an order is easy.
Simply just click on the “buy now” button on any product
and follow the simple step-by-step process through to checkout.
Are prices inclusive of vat?
Yes, as we're based in the Republic of Ireland, all prices on our website
are inclusive of VAT.
How do I know my order has been successful?
After you’ve completed checkout, you’ll be sent an email to confirm
that we have received your order. Within 24 hours you will receive a
second email, to confirm that your order has been prepared and
made ready for dispatch
What do I do if the item I want is out of stock?
If a product is out of stock you can request an email notification
to let you know when we have new stock available.
Can I change my mind, can I cancel or alter my order?
To cancel your order, you must contact us in writing
via email as soon as possible. It is not possible to cancel an order
once it has been dispatched from our warehouse.

You can Not cancel goods made to your specifications.
Are my personal details safe?
Handy Oil.com comply fully with the Data Protection Act and will never
share your personal data with a third party.

What methods of payment do you accept?
Through our website only We accept most major debit and credit cards
including Visa Credit, Visa Debit, MasterCard, Switch/UK Maestro, and Solo cards.
You can also pay online via PayPal
Do you accept payment via cheque?
We can accept payments by cheque – please contact customer services
for more details. Orders will not be dispatched until cheques have cleared.
Do you accept payment by cash?
We can provide you with our Iban bank account details. Once payment is confirmed
at our end, your Handy Oil Dispenser will be shipped immeadiatly to you.
When is payment charged to my credit or debit card?
As soon as you have finished placing your order your card is debited
Do you save my debit or credit card details?
NO, Handy Oil Ltd and its employees have no access to your credit card details.
We use the services of PayPal and Stripe as our checkout partners. All credit card
details are secured by these 3rd party companies under the relevant National, European and
International laws. Our checkout partners are Tier 1 PCI DSS certified – a security standard
which ensures the highest level of available protection for private data used by a website.
Tier 1 PCI DSS certified websites undergo regular independent tests to ensure your data
is protected and not vulnerable to theft.
Handy Oil Ltd and our checkout partners comply fully with all relevant National, European
and International Data Protection Acts and will never share your personal data with a

What do I do if I have a promotional code or a gift voucher code?
If you have a gift certificate or a promo code, you can enter it just below your order
summary on the Shopping Basket page. Alternatively, you can enter it on the Payment
page, just before you enter your card details.

What do I do if my payment is declined?
Please check your card details in your account to make sure the information is correct,
e.g. the expiry date or your billing address. Make sure that you enter the security code
correctly - the three digit number on the back of your card.
Your payment may have been declined by your bank - please check this with your bank.
If you've checked all of the above, we suggest you try paying with another card.
DELIVERY
How much does delivery cost?
Republic of Ireland & Nothern Ireland
All orders €10.00
Order by 2.30pm for delivery within 3-4 working days
We do not deliver to P.O. box addresses.
How long will standard delivery take?
We aim to deliver all products within 3-4 working days. On rare occasions
delivery may take a little longer; if you have not received your item within 5 days
of you placing your order, please contact our customer service team
Do you deliver to the Northern Ireland?
Yes, we do deliver to the Northern Ireland;.
Do you deliver internationally?
We regret that we cannot currently ship orders to international destinations.
Please contact customer service for alternative arrangements.
Is my signature required to accept delivery?
YES The courier will require a signature upon delivery.
What happens if I am not at home when you deliver?
If you are not able to sign for your order when it arrives, the courier will put a delivery
card through your letterbox, which will include details on how to rearrange delivery,
or where you can collect your order in person. If the order is not delivered, or collected
in person, it will be returned to Handy Oil. Please contact customer service to re ship.
Any additional shipping cost will be incurred by you.
My delivery has not arrived, what should I do?
If you do not receive your order within 4 days of you making your purchase, please
contact our customer service team on 085 8676191
RETURNS
What do I do if I am unhappy with my purchase?
If for whatever reason you are unhappy with your purchase, we can provide a refund
under the terms of our 14-day money back guarantee. However, you must keep all
the product packaging, including the instructions and the product must be returned
in a saleable condition. Please re-pack your item, along with the dispatch note. This
will help us to process your order. And please ship it back to us. Please be aware, you
will be responsible for paying returned courier costs, unless your item is faulty.
Please contact customer services if you wish to return your item. Nothing in our 14-day
money back guarantee policy or this section affects your statutory rights. For example,
you have a right to claim a repair or replacement of goods for up to 6 years from the
date of purchase (5 years in Scotland) if your goods were not of satisfactory quality or
fit for their purpose on the date of purchase. If you make a claim during the first 6 months,
and we reject it, it's up to us to prove the goods were of satisfactory quality or fit for purpose
at time of sale. After 6 months, it's up to you to show that the product had a fault or defect
when it was sold. If you ordered via telephone or internet you have the right under distance
selling regulations to cancel your order and receive a refund for home delivered items under
our Handy Oil Guarantee of 14-day money back guarantee.
What do I do if I've lost my product instructions?
If you lose your instructions please contact Customer Services who can supply you
with a new set. If you require information relating to any products we can provide this
on request. Please contact customer services if you require a new set of instructions.
What should I do if I have received damaged or incomplete goods?
If you are cancelling because there is a fault with the product, clearly state the details of the fault.
We will meet the cost of returning the product to us if the goods are faulty or incorrect.
For all other cancellations, you must return the goods to us at your own cost.
